Guess what the girls, the hubby, and I will be doing this afternoon at 3:30?! We'll be cheering on Michigan in their game with OSU. Both hubby and I are from Michigan (born and raised), but I'm a grauduate of OSU. What can I say? Once a Wolverine, always a Wolverine.
This games takes on a bittersweet quality to it, as our beloved coach, Bo Schembechler, died yesterday at the age of 77. May he rest in peace with the risen Lord, and may the Lord comfort his family and friends.
Okay, Blue, you've got a job to do! Win this one for Bo!

I'm not a major college football fan, but I did watch part of this one.....Go Buckeyes!! I did wear my scarlet and grey to school on Friday.
Hey - it was a great game! My only complaint was the condition of the field, as it seemed like the players kept on slipping all the time. The tributes to Bo were very moving, too. Who knows, we may be meeting again in a few weeks...
My husband is still in mourning. :) Although, we're not in Michigan any more, my hubby was born and raised there as well (I think I mentioned this to you before because he was raised not far from Traverse City) Anyway, I had gone out to the fabric store Friday night and couldn't believe that I found Michigan fleece material!! Needless to say, I bought some and went home and made little ponchos for my girls as well as hair bows, then we all were decked out in Michigan gear all day -- didn't seem to be a good luck charm for them though. My hubby is hoping they will be meeting again soon, but I guess we'll see how that goes.

We had the Grey Cup right here in Winnipeg, and I didn't even turn on the TV. I'm that bad a sports fan. Shame on me! I hope you enjoyed the game.
