Here is a segment about Lupus which aired on GMA on August 31, 2006. It's six minutes long, but it's a compelling video of a young lady who was diagnosed at about the same age as my daughter.
Thank you for sharing the video on Lupus. I have sent a copy to someone I love very much who has a lot of the symptoms listed by the doctor. She has not been able to get a lot of answers from her doctor - even though the doctor is great! You've done a great service by sharing!
Thank you for sharing. I had a friend in college with lupus...and I never quite understood what it was. This video, describing lupus victims as snowflakes answered a lot of my questions.
I'm afraid I've lost touch with her over the years so I'm not sure how she is doing. I do know that she struggled so much with college (she was in and out of the hospital and forever getting incompletes in her classes.) But I thought she was a rock! One of those people that should have her face plastered everywhere as a role model for hard work!
I'm so glad your daughter is in remission. I will continue to remember your family in my prayers.
I have two college age daughters and a precious granddaughter and a husband with whom I have shared my life for 35 years! I am a pscyotherapist in private practice where I counsel individuals, couples, and families.

I have you advertised at my site via BlogAds, you and lupus.org except my picture is not centering and it's driving me crazy!
Carol - I sent an e-mail to you, which hopefully helps.
