All Went Well

Surgery was a success and all went well. It was a bit more "ouchy" than I was expecting (and I have a high tolerance for pain), but it went so quickly so I was able to tolerate the procedure. My eye is still a bit sore today and I do have a headache, but again, it's tolerable.

Thank you for your prayers and concern - I appreciate it. My other eye gets done next Thursday (wish they could have done both at the same time).

I am going to delete my other post entitled "A Mother's Instincts" because the situation has been resolved. Suffice it to say that God helped me find the words to say what had to be said, and for the words to be received and accepted. Again, thank you for your words and prayers.

Valerie,
I'm so glad the surgery went well and I'll be praying for "quick" mending as well as the next surgery!
I'm especially glad that the issues previously posted on have been resolved.
Two things that I know - Mother's Intuition was a gift from God to help in caring for our growing children and there is nothing more effective when dealing with life's issues than prayer! I truly believe these are two of the greatest gifts God gave us a wives, mothers and women. A mother can talk to her children and express her love for her children, but as all mothers of teenagers know, there comes a point in a young person's life that nothing you, or most other adults, can say - to that child that seems to make much difference - unless it's "hemmed" in prayer!
You're still in my thoughts and prayers.
In His Love and Blessings,
annb

Hi Val,
So glad to hear good news aboutyour eyes and mum's intuition issues resolved!
Please check out www.rebekahspage.blogspot.com soon as there was a fire at Scott's home in OR on Rebekah's sixth birthday (Sat.) I have no idea why some folks have such suffering to go through and others not so much, or at least what appears not so much. I have been reading a most excellent book by Beth Moore entitled "Get Out of That Pit." I would recommend it to anyone at any season of life. I do know this.........Jesus is our only hope for this day and all days regardless of any circumstance. He is my rock and my salvation!! Thank God for our hope in Him.

I'm so glad it went well - the eye surgery and the intuition thing. Florence Shinn said it very well:
Intuition is a spiritual faculty and does not explain, but simply points the way.

God gave eye surgeons the inuition years ago that sight could be saved - yours has.

He gave you the gift of a mother's intuition to benefit your children.

I think right now, He's sitting up there looking down on you and smiling REAL BIG because you've given Him honor by accepting His gifts.

WAY TO GO GIRL! :o) xoxo
