On This First Day of Fall. . .

HAPPY AUTUMN!

May you enjoy this season of bounty and beauty, warm days and cool nights, football games and marching bands, bonfires and roasted marshmallows, hayrides and pumpkins, and preparing our hearts and homes for the upcoming winter months. This is my most favorite time of the year!

We don't seem to do much of anything over here in Autumn. There is Halloween, but we don't celebrate that - of course!

Seems like American's are much more community minded, we English are quite reserved by comparison :-)

Have a fab Autumn.

I love Autumn, too! One of my favorite things is going out with my family to the pumpkin patch. My niece was married last fall in the most beautiful wedding...and my birthday is in October. It's just a glorious, lovely time of the year.

I love the Fall but don't get a chance to see much of it in Arizona.
I was glad to find your site as I am an adotive mother as well. We adopted at age 3 and it was not the best situation my son came from. He still suffers much attachment issues and therapists here are very hard to come by.
I will have to come back to your site.
