OOPS
I had started writing a post before Christmas about human frailty, and this afternoon, I finally got the chance to finish it.
I had saved it as a draft, so when I pressed "publish post", it did so but under the December 23rd date.
I don't have a clue how to get it from there to here for a January 12th post, so, if you are so inclined, please go back to my archives and look for the post entitled "Human Frailty - Part One".
And perhaps one of you could explain to me how to move it to today's date, how to enlarge my "blogroll", and even how to (finally) post my picture! I am clueless. . .
Thanks!

can you copy and paste it into a new entry?
I'll email ya! Can't help with all of it (notice I have no picture in my profile either...) but I think I can help with some of this.
Mrs. D: I told you I am clueless!
Julie: Thanks!
In the meantime, I noticed on my sidebar, that the post is actually listed under the "Recent Posts" category - so head over there and read it and make a comment, if you feel like it!
Let me know if you still need help with date change and blogroll. I can try to help. The blogroll's not too hard. It's been awhile since I played with the date, but think I 've done it.
Val, if you are using the blogger editor, you should just cut and paste into a new post.
I love the house graphic too! Beautiful!! oh and I also wanted to say hi! and I'm from Ohio too.

Email me if you want help on moving the blog entry or the sidebar (though it looks as if you're well supplied with help from the comments above).
Also, I read that entry through Bloglines ... very powerful. I'm looking forward to the next installment. :-)
Well, once an incurable techy, always an incurable techy! I don't recall ever commenting on your bloggie but I can't resist helping to iron out a simply techy problem so here goes...
Go to the screen where you create a new post in blogger. Right above the blue button that says "Save as Draft" there is a little arrowhead and "Post and Comment Options". Click there and VOILA! You can easily reorganize the sequence of your posts simply by changing the date when posted! Isn't it just SO fun?
And, yes! Your bloggie is SO beautiful! Very, very pretty!
P.S. Some other simple things on the blogger compose page may not work if your computer preferences do not allow pop-ups. (For example, spell-check) Get your pop-up blocker to allow pop-ups for blogger.com and those features should become accessible.
Back to my knittin'!
Carol-Ann
I wish I was there to show you the blogroll. I know I can't explain it well enough! Argh.
Val, You are getting alot of compliments on your template today. I hope you don't mind if I answer macromomments.
MacroMomments, I designed Val's blog, and the original image had the blurry affect on it already. I think that's what I loved about it so much. I just added a bit more blur to the edges in photoshop, and behind the lettering.
When you go into blogger to edit the post just change the date and timestamp at the bottom. Hope that helps.
And who is this Carol Ann and her knitting? That's my name as well and I love to knit! LOL
I wish I had thought about telling you that I was going to Ohio, I would have loved to have met you in person too!
MKM, Darlene,
Is this a photo of the house you, MKM, actualy live in? If so, I am a little jealous. :-)
Hi there everybody! First, let me say THANK YOU for all of your suggestions on how to fix my dilemmas. I'm going to try to sit down today (Sunday) or tomorrow to try to figure this stuff out. Second, let me respond to your individual comments. . .
Macromoments: Thank you so very much. My blog designer, Darlene, actually went ahead and answered those questions - which is a good thing because I don't have a clue. She's a wonderful designer, don't you think?
Julana: I'm sure you'll hear me screaming if I get frustrated because, after all, we live in the same state!! And no, this is not an actual picture of my house - but it is very reminiscent of the house I grew up in.
BWH: Thanks - short and to the point (just like my hubby).
Elena: Welcome to my blog, and thnak you!! Where are you located in Ohio? (Julana is here, too).
Julie: Thanks for offering to help. I'll let you know. And thanks for your comment about my entry on human frailty. I plan to write the next installment in a day or two.
Carol-Ann: Thank you, thank you!!! And thanks for your comment about my blog - it's appreciated! What are you knitting? My 17 year old is learning - she's quite good, actually!
Darlene: Actually, I am glad you responded about the template - I just apologize because I didn't get to respond sooner. I still love the template you designed - I've been half-tempted to have you design one for each season (wouldn't that be cool?) but money is tight right now. Maybe when I win the lottery. . .
Carol (AKA Alabama Improper) - It is SO good to hear from you once again. I'll try your suggestion. And, this was the first time I met Carol-Ann, so I'm not sure how to answer that question! Anyway, next time you make it to Ohio, let's make plans, ok? I should email you and tell you about my first plane ride on a small airplane (just like the one you described) - it's funny now, but wasn't then. . .
Barbara: I'm glad you're around, too - we seem to think a lot alike, and get support from each other! Thanks, my friend.
Julana - I answered that question above.
Anyway - thank you, my friends!!!!
Have a great Sunday!
