Jodi - I'm not sure if there is a song named after you. I know of two other ones with my name in it - "Valerie" by the Beatles, and another one that goes "Valerie, Valera, Valerie, Valerah-ah-ah-ah" (I forget the real name of that song, though).
HB, I only have four years on you. In 1987 all Steve Winwood was considered make out music. I guess you were too busy with Bon Jovi to figure that out.
I have two college age daughters and a precious granddaughter and a husband with whom I have shared my life for 35 years! I am a pscyotherapist in private practice where I counsel individuals, couples, and families.

I learned early that Steve Winwood music is great to make out to. We're talking Sade kind of good.
Kevin - I enjoy this song for the melody, not necessarily ALL of the lyrics. Ahem. And, I've never touched Steve. Just ask my hubby. . .
BWH - I don't know what you're even talking about cuz I never did that - I'm a good Catholic girl. I do like Sade, too!
I don't think there's any Jodi songs out there. Sad day.....but my life will just have to go on!!

I particularly love the closing line of every refrain:
"I'm the same boy I used to be."
We'd all love to believe that, no matter how much time has passed.
