Have you considered that part of Queen Bee's problem is that she is jealous of DQ? DQ is beautiful and unique. She stands out. Girls are so jealous of eachother at this age, and will pick on anything thats different out of their own insecurities.
Not to say thats the only issue there and to ignore everone else's behavior. Im sure are handling it!
My oldest daughter's dad is half Asian, and she looks like she is half as well. So far no problem. But I know her aunts had hard times growing up in Arizona being half Asian. People are stupid.
Through school I was white but had a hispanic last name, and I got trouble for that too. (I'm still white, but I'm Ok.)
I guess my point is to hang in there! You sound like a great influence over your children, and they will do well!
Hi Echo: Yes, I thought of that, too - and I am sure it is part of it. I also think because DQ is a "brain", that the other kids were jealous of that, too. Thank you - I am praying that both girls will do well in life.
Carol and Tyra: Thank you for the compliments! I will share them with DQ, ok?
